Phil Fisher, at the youthful age of 80, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025.

He was born "with a paintbrush in his hand" in Toledo, Ohio on February 7, 1945. Phil graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1964 and attended Toledo University, Ringling School of Art and Instituto de Allende, before settling in Naples, Florida in 1971, where he got his start in his professional art career. On April 11, 1981, he married fellow artist Natalie Guess and started a beautiful family. They created Fisher Art and Frame Shop in1983 which grew into Phil Fisher Gallery then Guess-Fisher Gallery, as it is currently operating today.

Phil became known for his paintings in watercolors and oils that depicted his joy of being in Naples, where he could paint on location almost daily and where he found a real connection with the community. He painted in Northern Michigan, in the summers, for 30 years and became a part of that community as well. Among his many accomplishments and awards, he treasured the honor of "Phil Fisher Skies" not only living on forever on canvas, but in a song by Marie Nofsinger. He leaves behind many friendships and family connections that meant the world to him.

He is survived by his brother, Fred Fisher (Pam), his wife, Natalie, children, Erin, Tianna (Dave) and Nolen Fisher (Shauna) and grandchildren, Zoe, Bryan, Ayla and Nalani. He was preceded in death by Virginia (Cramer) and Stanley Fisher.

A celebration of Phil's life will be at the Guess-Fisher Gallery on February 7, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity, "Help A Diabetic Child" in Phil's memory.
