Phillip Prinest Gray, Jr., age 62, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his home in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:30 PM, at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with Rev. James Carney officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
Phillip was born on May 24, 1962, to Phillip Gray, Sr. and Mary Louise Petty Gray. He enjoyed his job at MTD in Brownsville, TN where he worked as an assembly worker on the hang line for 23 years. One of his greatest pastimes was traveling and collecting souvenirs from the places he visited. Phillip loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who had the honor to know him.
Phillip is survived by his sister, Paulette Currie (Charles) of Jackson, TN. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Mary Gray, Sr.; two brothers, Darin Gray and Michael Gray; and one sister, Samantha Gray.
All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
