Phillip Konieczny Obituary Phillip Andrew Konieczny of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the age of 65. He fought hard and sadly lost his battle to cancer. His family has comfort in knowing his pain has come to an end.
He was born on August 11, 1959, in LaPorte, Indiana to Donna Lee (Fellows) and Edward Lawrence Konieczny. Phillip was a hard-working man his entire life, and worked as a material handler for Forest River Inc. He enjoyed the simple things in life, a good meal, working around his yard, and of course his family.
Phillip could be hard-headed and told his family he didn't even want an obituary when he died. Sorry Phillip, your family loved you unconditionally and will forever love and remember you.
He leaves behind his son, Phillip L. Konieczny (Warsaw, IN); three sisters, Pamela S. (Larry) Cassel (Florida); Joan (Mark) Konieczny (MI); Mary (Lawrence) Caird (WI). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Tom Bryon LaFrance, Edward F. Konieczny, and his daughter, Jessica McNight.
Per his wishes, he requested that there be no services, Phillip's family will celebrate his life privately. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
