Phillip Lewallen, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.
He was born on June 17, 1947, in Argos, Indiana, and was the son of Charles and Marjorie (Sanner) Lewallen.
Phillip graduated from Triton High School with the class of 1965. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era and was honorably discharged in 1969. He would go and receive his bachelor’s degree in business from St. Francis College in Fort Wayne. On May 25, 1974, he married Christine Dietrick at St. Augustine in Napoleon, Ohio.
Phillip worked his way up from an accountant at Holiday Rambler to Senior Executive Vice President. In 1987, he moved to Florida and became the President of Executive Development Corporation until retirement. He was known as a very kind-hearted man who could relate to anyone in any situation and was always willing to help someone in need. Phillip was big on education.
He enjoyed working with his hands, from restoring Land Rovers with his son Matt to woodworking. Phillip always put his family before anything else, and he enjoyed being a jokester and pulling pranks.
He is survived by his wife Krys, son Matt, and his children Layne and Jaxson; daughter Amy (Jesse) Hawe and their children: Tyler, Noelle, Mason, and Elizabeth; brothers Larry (Nancy) Lewallen, and Chuck (Carol) Lewallen.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents.
