Phillip McGriff

Phillip McGriff, 55, of Leola passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Phillip was born November 26, 1959 in Malvern, AR to Clarence (Green) and Lester McGriff. Phillip loved fishing and he was a good cook. One of his favorite things to do was watch cartoons with his grandson. Phillip is predeceased by his parents; niece, Anja Dial; and brother, David McGriff. Phillip is survived by his wife, Jackie McGriff of Leola; daughter, Brittney McGriff of Lono; son, Jonathan (Juli) McGriff; sisters, Barbara (Orland) Dial of Lono and Judy (Carrell) Buck of Lono; grandson, Trevor McGriff; and his friend that was like a sister "Mama Nita". Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Lono Cemetery with Bro. Bob Birchfield officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Walters, Ricky Walters, Shawn Wunderlich, Timmy Korwes, Ben Porterfield, Gerrin Crain, Stacey Web, and Patrick Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Walters and Jayson Walters. Arrangements entrusted to Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern, AR.
