Phillip Barry Norman age 72 of Northtown passed away Wednesday, February 4th at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on his homeplace in Northtown to the late Kenneth & Geraldine Poteet Norman.

Phillip was a former maintenance employee with Dart Container for 20 plus years. He worked hard all of his life. He loved his horses, his dog Chico, the farm, going camping with his family, which was everything to him. He worked in the log woods but didn't necessarily like it.

Phillip was a member of the Northtown Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a son Jason, a grandson Derrick Miller and two brothers Glen Norman & Monty Norman and brother-in-law Jimmy Rountree

Phillip is survived by his wife Anita Norman, two daughters Chasity Hensley(Mark) & Angela Hodges(Scott), Grandchildren Casey Adams(Tyler), Caden Norman(Katelan Jade Rich), Eligh Hensley, Laura Beth Replogle(Nathaniel), Jonathan Hodges(Karah) & Matthew Hodges(Morgan) and two great-granddaughters Cecily Adams & Lily Hodges; one brother Mike Norman(Ellen); four sisters Marzetta Vernon(Herb), Darlene Rountree, Joanna Norman & Tonya Olges(Tony); two sisters-in-law Joyce Norman & Celeste Norman;

Several nieces, nephews & cousins.

The funeral service for Phillip Barry Norman will be held 1pm Sunday, February 8th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Harper officiating. Visitation will be from 10am-8pm Saturday and after 9am Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Northtown Church Cemetery.
