Phillip O'Dell, born on August 5, 1942, peacefully departed this life on February 27, 2026. He leaves behind a rich legacy celebrated by his loving family.
Phillip was a devoted husband to Lydia O'Dell, and together they built a life filled with love and shared experiences. He was a proud father to Brian (Kelly) O'Dell and Patricia (Brian) Jamison, who take comfort in their cherished memories of him. Phillip was also a doting grandfather to five grandchildren: Tylen Madian, Danica Horner, Brendin O'Dell, Landon O'Dell, and Devin O'Dell, who meant the world to him and brought immense joy into his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Phillip is survived by his brother, Ronald O'Dell, as well as a host of other family members and friends who will remember him for his kindness and passion for life.
Phillip's interests were as varied as they were fulfilling. He loved the thrill of flight simulation, finding joy and adventure in the virtual skies. A passionate golfer, he reveled in the time spent on the green, enjoying both the game and the camaraderie it brought. An avid sports fan, he delighted in watching hockey and baseball, often sharing his enthusiasm for these sports with those around him.
Preceding Phillip in death were his beloved parents, Lyle O'Dell and Margie O'Dell, who instilled in him strong values and a spirit of resilience that he carried throughout his life.
As we remember Phillip O'Dell, we honor a man who lived fully and loved deeply, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the memories created with those he cherished.
