Phillip Pass Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 2, 2009.
Phillip left behind his beautiful wife, Jo Ann, whom he was very proud of. She was his world. Together they shared the love of their two black labs, Sarah and Sassy. His son, Paul Pass, of Washougal, WA; his daughters, Darla Modoc, of the Tri-Cities, WA and April Hall of Lyons, OR; his two step-children, Brad Bork of Spokane, WA and Jody Casa of Woodland, WA; siblings left behind are his brother and best friend, George Pass, of Vancouver, WA and Jack Bratton, of Seattle, WA; and his two sisters, Susan Wooldridge of Vancouver, WA and Patsy Newkirk of Battle Ground, WA. He was also a wonderful grandfather to his 12 grandchildren, whom he loved very much, Paul and Tami's children, Khyla and Mariah, Darla and Tanaka's children, Anthony, Hailee, Korben, and Allison, April Hall's child, Edwin, Brad and Mari's children, Katie and Riley and Jody Casa's children, Miryssa, MariHa, and Mychal. Phil was a beautiful person. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Camping with his wife and dogs in their new trailer was his favorite past time, although he also had a passion for working on cars and has had a lifetime goal of restoring his old 55' Chevy pickup, that dream will be fulfilled by his son, Paul. His love for his two black labs, Sarah and Sassy was indescribable. They were his "girls", his "shadows", day or night they were by his side, right to the very end of his journey here on earth. He will be greatly missed by all. He will be joining his father and mother in heaven. They will be so happy to have him with them, although we will miss him greatly here on earth. He will no longer have to live in pain, he is at peace. He has made an incredible impact on many lives here on earth. Someday, we will join him in Heaven. He will be waiting at the gates for each of us, to comfort us. Although we are all hurting, he is not; he is at peace and will watch over each and every one of us. God bless his sweet soul.
