I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

To the family of Phil Dowdell - I live near Jacksonville and it breaks my heart to hear of your loss of your son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend - knowing he was supposed to come here to school brings this closer to me, even though we´ve never met. I cannot imagine your heartbreak or your grief, and I am so deeply saddened that this has happened to your family. Please accept my deepest sympathy and my prayers as you try to navigate the coming days, weeks, and months. I know your lives will never be the same. Sending my condolences and prayers for God´s strength and comfort for all of you.
