Phylis Massey Obituary
Phylis dedicated over 40 years of her career to the insurance industry. She was also an active member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP), which provides education, skills enhancement, and leadership development to members of the insurance industry.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William Ernest Massey Jr., her parents, Frank and Marion Lancaster, and her brother, Timothy Lancaster.
Phylis is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Traci Massey of Rockmart; grandchildren, William "Rad" Massey and Brooklynn Massey; and sister, Kathy Lancaster Brumbelow.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tommy Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service.
