I will always be thankful that God allowed me to know Phyllis! The impact she had on my life as a young girl can't be overstated. She was my Sunday school teacher and youth group leader for several years, and among many memories of time spent with her, I will never forget the day that no other kids showed up, but she asked if I still wanted to meet. I felt such a deep and genuine love from her, and realizing how dull my sad little 6th grade life was makes her devotion even more meaningful and impressive. She truly showed me Jesus, and helped instill a love for God's word. I grieve the loss of her smile, her warmth, and her quiet, gentle spirit. We pray you are all comforted with the deep peace of God, which she always facilitated, even when chaos tried to prevail. Thank you for caring for her the same way she did for others. She was truly a marvelous woman, and loved by so many! We will miss her greatly.
