Napoleon - Phyllis Kay Brubaker, 79, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was born in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio on September 16, 1944, to the late Frank and Helen (Root) Myers. She married Robert Brubaker on February 26, 1988.

Phyllis was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Napoleon where she served as a deaconess. She enjoyed teaching Bible School and cooking for community dinners. Phyllis led aerobic classes in her younger days. She loved watching and taking care of her grandchildren. Phyllis also had a huge heart for her cats and would take care of the neighborhood strays. Phyllis is survived by her son, Chad (Cassandra) Meyers; stepchildren, Lori (James) Popil and Leigh Ann (Kevin) Towne; 5 grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob"; and brother, Thomas (Kay) Myers.

Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to services. Interment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens, Memorial contributions may be directed to First Presbyterian Church or the Henry County Humane Society. Saddened to learn of Cousin Phyllis' death. Had lost contact with her over the years. I remember her bubbly, outgoing personality. May she rest in peace. Cousin Jim Lather, Albuquerque, New Mexico
