Phyllis Conn Obituary

Predeceased by husband of 54 years Arthur Lee Jr. and son Arthur Lee III, she is beloved and survived by her children Charlene (Vincent) Botticelli, Michael Ross Conn (estranged), Carolyn (Reggie) Cansdale and Melissa (Dave) St.Denny, 15 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Phyllis loved family and friends and hosted many get-togethers. She enjoyed much volunteering including troop leader for Girl and Boy Scouts, Dress a Girl program, CDE and church Bingo. Also, a prolific seamstress, Phyllis designed/altered casual clothing to wedding dresses, handcrafting over 300 Raggedy Ann /Andy Dolls and designing costumes for 10 grandchildren to be a pumpkin patch for Halloween. Phyllis had many friends whom she loved and especially enjoyed meeting those for breakfast after daily mass. She truly treasured her best friend Mary Ann Schoenfeld of over 61 years. May the spirit of service, giving, and kindness which permeated Phyllis' character bring warm memories, peace, and comfort to those of us who miss her and mourn her passing.
Friends may call to the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd., Webster) Sunday, October 5th from 1-4 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's Church October 6th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Webster Union Cemetery.
