My Aunt Phyllis was a beautiful soul inside and out.
I have such fond memories of her in growing up and even more so later on in my adult years with many chats over the phone. We talked on many topics but I especially loved hearing about her life in growing up with her sister (my mom) and her brother (my uncle) and her mom and dad (my grandparents).
Aunt Phyllis was so full of life. Always smiling and laughing. She was such an upbeat person.
She had many admirable qualities. Just to name a few...she was a great cook. She shared many of her recipes with me. There is one in particular that´s always a hit at all my summer events. Aunt Phyllis´ pea salad. The best!!! Her brisket was pretty pretty good as well!! She was apparently a very good mom. Proof is in the pudding. She raised 3 wonderful boys. It was the help of the "bat" that my brother mentioned that kept them in their place. Lol. She was also handy in her knitting ability. Aunt Phyllis had a great sense of humor too. Whenever we were together she would say "if I knew you were coming I would have baked a cake". She would say this a few times in the course of the gathering. We laughed each and every time.
Aunt Phyllis will be missed greatly. The memories I have of her will live in my mind and heart forever.

In the short time we have known Phyllis she embodied a very vibrant, energetic and socially active person with an infectious smile who I´m sure will be missed by everyone who knew her. It was a pleasure being introduced to her by our son in law,Sean and we are sending our deepest condolences to her family. I´m sure she is resting peacefully.

I was Phyllis caregiver when she lived at home in Greenbriar . Such a wonderful person. She loved people and always started a friendly conversation with those we would meet on our days out to lunch. Loved our time together. My son James would come with me at times and she loved when he did. Put a huge smile on her face. We always will remember Phyllis and cherish the blankets she made for us too.
