Phyllis F. Cramer

Graveside funeral services, honoring the life of Phyllis F. Cramer, 88, formerly of Hebron, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in the Kirkersville Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Paul. Phyllis passed away early Wednesday morning, December 6, 2023, in Bidwell. She was born November 1, 1935, in Oak Hill, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thoburn and Almeda (Gray) Detty.
A hard worker, she retired from Lucent technologies, and then went to work for Ohio State University at the Schott. She loved the outdoors, traveling, going on gambling trips, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Always outgoing, she never met a stranger.
She is survived by her son Robbie (Rita) Detty, stepsons David and P.D. Cramer; along with her grandson Brian (Lisa) Detty, her step-grandson Chad (Jess) Cramer; great grandchildren Nicole (Corey) Hutton, Chase (Jazz) Detty, Emma Cramer and Matison Detty; her great-great grandchildren Clara and Kynlee; her sisters Lola McCarter, Connie Metzler and Theresa O'Brien; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson Matthew Detty and a brother Merrill Detty.
Honoring Phyllis's wishes, there will be no visitation. Friends are welcome to attend the graveside service.
