Phyllis Jean Doran

Phyllis Jean Doran, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Dade City, Florida, on January 24, 2026. She was born on June 30, 1948, in Marietta, Ohio.

Phyllis spent many years in the retail industry, most of which—and most recently—with Winn-Dixie. She was known as a bright light who shared her warmth and kindness freely with others.

In her free time, Phyllis enjoyed baking, watching vlogs and tutorials, and following true crime programs. Her true passion, however, was quilting and crocheting. She took great pride in her creativity and was an integral and cherished member of the Sewing and Crafting with Friends Club at the Southfork Community.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Celene Doran; her siblings, Rosemond Gloria Mullet, Patricia O’Neil, Joseph Stephens, and Chester Stephens; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dear friends and neighbors of the Southfork Community.

Phyllis leaves behind a lifetime of love, handmade treasures, and memories that will be cherished always.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial trees to be planted in Phyllis's memory or if donations can be made in her name to Sunrise of Pasco, Inc. at P.O. Box 928, Dade City, FL 33526.
