Aunt Phyllis is singing with the angels. She was such a strong woman. Greatly loved and appreciated. God bless her and all the family.

Phyllis was like a mom to me. She and Jim provided Bob and me so much love and support. They were adopted grandparents to our daughter. She was an amazing lady. She worked full time, was a great mother to her children, was very active with her church, Eastern Star, sewed beautiful clothes, kept a garden, painted, was a vociferous reader, AND a wonderful cook.
She loved her children, Jodie and Mark. She was so very proud of them.
Jesus said to love God with all our hearts and spirit and to love our neighbors as ourself. She truly followed that path.
She and Jim would just call us and tell us we needed to go out to dinner and they would care for Jeanna. After we moved to Austin and Jeanna got older they would have her come for a week. Phyllis taught her how to sew. Our daughter considered Phyllis and Jim her "real grandparents".
Phyllis had so much love to give. Her love was unconditional. When I had surgery, she came and stayed to help me in my recovery.
She and Jim came to Georgia to visit and help out. It was a new state and city for us. They introduced us to several friends they knew in the area.
When my mother died, they went with me and comforted me during that time.
She truly was a friend, a confidante and a mother figure to me. I was truly blessed by this human angel.
