Phyllis Moseley Fontenot

Fenton-A Mass of Christian Burial for Phyllis M. Fontenot, 91, will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11 o'clock a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Fr. Joseph Jom will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors and friends at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Fenton on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. until time of service. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.

Phyllis was a devoted wife to her husband, Irvin, for over 57 years until his passing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies' Altar Society for many years. Her family meant the world to her and for her entire life, she enjoyed caring for and spending time with them. Phyllis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Phyllis' memory include her son, James "Jimmy" Fontenot and wife, Janet of Kinder; her daughter, Pamela Reed and husband, Kyle of Fenton; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Frances Jared Moseley; her husband, Irvin Joseph Fontenot; one son, Irvin "Buddy" Fontenot, Jr; and her brother, Sonny Moseley.
