A graduate of Mineral Wells High School, Phyllis was a devoted homemaker who cared deeply for her family. After graduating, she worked briefly alongside her father, contributing to the family legacy. Phyllis shared 35 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jim Frank. Together, they enjoyed many adventures and shared a deep love of traveling and exploring new places.
Phyllis was known for her vibrant personality and her gift for bringing people together. She loved hosting lively gatherings filled with laughter and joy. She had a passion for dancing, traveling-especially her cherished trips to Italy-and going on cruises with her husband. The holiday season was especially meaningful to her; each year she eagerly decorated her home, filling it with warmth and festive spirit. Her grandchildren lovingly called her "Phy Phy," a name that reflected the deep bond they shared.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Frank; her son, Jeff Roe and wife Stacy; daughter, Tracy Poynor and husband Brad; sister, Carolyn Cox Smith and husband Allan Smith of Mineral Wells; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse "J.O." Cox and Mary Frances Norman Cox, and her sister, Susanne Cox.
Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
