Phyllis Frederick

Phyllis May Frederick, a beloved nurse, devoted sister, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on May 21, 1934, in England, Phyllis filled her years with passion, compassion, and purpose, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
With a degree in nursing, Phyllis embarked on a fulfilling career in private care. Her work was not just a profession but a calling, bringing her immense joy as she dedicated herself to the well-being of her patients. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering kindness provided comfort to many, and her memory will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In her leisure time, Phyllis had a zest for life that shone through her love for reading and traveling. She found great pleasure in the challenge of working puzzles, often losing track of time as she pieced together intricate designs. Each page turned and each destination explored brought unique adventures that she relished recounting to her friends and family, filling their lives with her laughter and warmth.
Although she has departed from this world, the legacy of her love and dedication will continue to inspire those she touched.
Funeral services to celebrate Phyllis's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local nursing care scholarship fund, so that Phyllis's spirit of caring lives on in future generations of healthcare professionals.
Phyllis was preceded in death by: her parents John & Edith Herbert; husband Donald Frederick; and a host of other family members.
