Phyllis Jean Kilgore Graham passed away peacefully in her home on January 27, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 72.
Mrs. Graham was born on May 14, 1951, in Chattanooga, TN. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Scott Graham (Rhonda) of Athens, TN, and Jeffery Todd Graham, (Debra) of Hixson, TN; six grandchildren, Austin Scott Graham, Baylee Denise Graham (Daniel) of Birchwood, Braxton Lee Graham, Gabriel Todd Graham of Hixson, TN, Steven Andrew West and Michael Edward West of Cleveland, TN and three great grandchildren, Zayden, Hudson and Mack. Two sisters, Mary Ann Smith (Kittrell) of Chattanooga; Elizabeth Anderson, of Sparta and one brother, James R. Kilgore (Sharon) of Sparta. Many very special nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her husband, Fred G. Graham, her parents, Hardy Sr. and Ruby Kilgore; three brothers, Larry Allen Kilgore, Charles Cannon of Chattanooga, TN and Hardy Kilgore, Jr. of Sparta, TN and two sisters, Regina Totherow of Dayton, TN, and Wanda Forgey of Doyle, TN.
Mrs. Graham retired from Tennessee Valley Authority where she served as a Material Clerk in the Power Division. She also attended Chattanooga State. Mrs. Graham retired early due to health problems. She was of the Baptist faith.
The family would like to thank Hearth Hospice for their loving care during her last few days at home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland, TN located at 2415 Georgetown Rd in Cleveland TN. A service celebrating her life will follow the visitation time at 7:00 PM with her son Kevin Scott Graham officiating.
Mrs. Graham will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Old Zion Cemetery in Sparta, TN in a private ceremony.
