Phyllis E. Jacoby

Phyllis E. Jacoby, 92, of South Whitehall Twp., died July 26, 2021 in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. She was the loving wife of the late Donald D. Jacoby. Phyllis owned the former Phyl's Greenhouse retiring in 2012. Prior to that, she worked as a bookkeeper and business manager at Martins Mills, a bookkeeper at Stewart Mills, a bookkeeper at Howell Service Center, was a substitute history teacher at Lehigh Carbon Community College and was a substitute teacher and business manager at Lower Saucon Twp. Born in Williamsport, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Lee and Beulah (Hose) Howell.

Survivors: Stepson: David D. Jacoby and his wife Patricia of Bethlehem, Daughters: Donna Lee Stephens of Durham, NC and Nelda Kay Oswald of Cape Coral, FL, Son: Nelson K. Stephens and his wife Susie of Stuart, FL, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a Daughter: Rebecca Ann Stephens and a Stepson: Daniel R. Jacoby

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Grandview Cemetery, 2735 Walbert Ave. Allentown. Arrangements by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Condolences may be offered at: www.jsburkholder.com
