Phyllis Ann Koch, a beloved member of the Potosi community, passed away on March 22, 2024. Known for her very loving, kind, and caring nature, Phyllis touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Born on January 14, 1950, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, Phyllis led a life filled with compassion and dedication. She found joy in spending time with her family and actively participating in activities at St. Joachim Catholic Church. Phyllis was a proud member of the ladies auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, helping with many funeral luncheons and chicken fry’s. Phyllis's proudest accomplishments revolved around her role as a mother and grandmother. She was the number one fan of her grandchildren, Olivia, Keith, Kinsley, and Kayla. Her love for family extended beyond blood relations to include close friends who became like family to her.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Roux and Florence Roux, her sister Ruth Clawson, her brother Charles "Sonny" Roux, and her loving husband of 49 years, Wayne Koch. While Phyllis may have left this world, her memory lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her son Royce Koch and his wife Tiffany of Springfield, MO; her sister Barbara Portell of Potosi, MO; sisters-in-law Karen Meyers and husband Frank, Deborah McGuinn and husband Marion, Denise Stamos and husband Steve; brothers-in-law Gary Koch and wife Ginia, Kevin Koch and wife Debra and Roger Koch.
Phyllis will be deeply missed but remembered for the love she shared with those around her. May she rest in peace.
