Phyllis Brooks Lambert, 85, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at her home in Concord. Phyllis was born on June 11, 1940, in Big Lick, North Carolina, to the late Lane Washington Brooks and the late Ruth Ann Austin Brooks. Phyllis was the bright, shining star of her family and the apple of her precious husband’s eye. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her unending love shone through every smile and twinkle in her eye. She raised her family with a firm hand and a soft heart.
