Phyllis Gene Lemley

PHYLLIS GENE LEMLEY, 80, formerly of Shadyside, OH, died Friday, March 27, 2009 in Zanesville, OH. She was born January 28, 1929 in a daughter of the late Joel and Beatrice Cyples Strahl. Phyllis was a former bank teller with Farmers and Merchants Bank and a member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Donald L Lemley on November 25, 1992, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and a grandson, Wesley Berger. Surviving are 2 daughters; Susan Berger and her husband Timothy of Chandlersville, OH, Donna Hercules and her husband Paul of Martinsburg, WV, and 6 grandchildren. Friends will be received on Sunday, March 29 from 1-3 and 5-7pm at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, where services will be held on Monday at 2:00pm, with Rev. Donald Perks officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park, St. Clairsville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Summerville @ North Hills Activity Fund or Genesis Hospice.
