Phyllis Lint

1949 - 2025

Phyllis Elaine Lint, 76, passed away on October 2, 2025, with her daughters by her side.

Born on January 16, 1949, Phyllis was a 1967 graduate of Mecosta-Remus Consolidated School. A devout Catholic, she was a dedicated member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where she participated in parish luncheons and the Quilt Club.

Phyllis lived a life rooted in faith, family, and the simple joys of home. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, and tending her yard. Family was her greatest treasure-she adored her daughters and grandchildren. She shared 54 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Robert Lint, whom she was separated from for only 54 days before joining him in eternal rest. They were married on October 3, 1970, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter.

Phyllis cherished summers camping at Higgins Lake, evenings spent with Robert playing board games, watching movies, and sharing meals. She enjoyed biking, fishing, and was proud to clean her own catch, often reminding her family, "You catch it, you clean it." She loved bird watching, listening to her collection of wind chimes, and even learned to play piano later in life.

She is survived by her daughters: Angela (Stacy) Uebele, Anne (Steven) Bishop, and Jen (Tony Leonard) Cutter; her brothers Albert (Karen) Gigowski and Marge Gigowski; grandchildren Wesly Bishop, Madison Bishop, Tyler Uebele, Evan Uebele, Aubrie Uebele, Ayden Cutter, and Amylia Cutter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lint; her parents, August Gigowski and Dorothy Gigowski; her brothers Junior, Robert, Jim, Fabian, and Chuck; and her sister Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Michael Alber as celebrant. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.

Phyllis will be remembered for her devotion to her faith, her love of family, and the warmth she brought to everyone she knew. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
