Phyllis Jean Litchfield, age 75, of Apple Grove, passed away peacefully on September 21st surrounded by her family.

Phyllis was born on August 4th, 1950, in (Apple Grove, WV) to William L "Pete" and Thelma "Jean" Flora. Throughout her life, she was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in the simple, meaningful moments spent with them.

Phyllis was a retired Custodian at Mason County School Board. She was especially known for her love of baking, always filling her home with the warmth of cakes, cookies, and treats made with love. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness. Above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren and family, creating memories that will be held dearly forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents William L "Pete" & Thelma "Jean" Flora, grandson Nathan Litchfield, and sister-in-law Shelia Flora.

She is survived by her brother William Flora, her sons Timothy W Litchfield, James (Bridgette) Litchfield, grandchildren James "Jc" Litchfield, Jacob Litchfield, Shayla (Justin) Cobern, Anna (Tyler) Litchfield, MaKayla Litchfield, her four beloved great grandchildren as well as, many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on September 25 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Deal Funeral Home with services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tony Stover officiating. Burial will follow immediately after at Barton Cemetery in Apple Grove. Family and friends are invited to attend to honor her life.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, and the joy she brought to those around her.
