Phyllis Joyce Meyer

Phyllis Joyce (Harding) Meyer, 88, of Zionsville passed away May 2, 2018.? She was born to the late George and Hazel (Gardner) Harding on August 27, 1929 in Indianapolis.? She married Dale Meyer on April 10, 1952 in Zionsville, Indiana.Joyce was a life long resident of Zionsville and graduated from Zionsville High School a a member of the class of 1947.? She was a member? of PSI IOTA XI, Alpha Lambda Chapter.? The Women's Club of Zionsville and several other social clubs.In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children; Jon (Ellen) Meyer, The Woodlands, TX and David (Robyn) Meyer, Zionsville, IN; six grandchildren: Kathryn Moor, Sarah Fitzgerald, Jennifer Meyer, Jensen Meharg, Emma Meyer, Claire Meyer and six great grandchildren: Charlotte Moor, Olivia Moor, Jon Fitzgerald, Kennedy Kroeger, Stella Kroeger, Norah Kroeger. Also surviving, a sister Germaine (Harding) Chapman and brother Joseph Harding.? She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Marjorie Turley and Rosemary Dunwoody.A memorial service celebrating Joyce's life will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 19 at the Zionsville United Methodist Church with calling one hour prior.In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Zionsville United Methodist Church.
