Phyllis was married to my husband Jim (James) Bossom's biological father Alex Morris. Jim and I were blessed to have known her and spent last Christmas with Phyllis at our home and since we moved to Virginia in Oct. 2010 with Jim's job we visited quite often. Phyllis loved it when we took her shopping and out to dinner, her favorite was shrimp! Even though we lived over an hour away from her, it did not matter, we knew Alex would have loved us keeping an eye on her and we loved it too. For those that knew her understand what I mean. It broke our hearts when we called Phyllis's home Christmas day to be told by the staff she had passed away. Thank goodness we made that call or we would have missed our chance at attending the funeral and saying our last goodbyes. Phyllis, we loved you and enjoyed spending time with you. You were never a burden to us. God speed and now you and Alex are reunited again.

The Crossings at Bon Air family is definitely missing a spark in our Assisted Living. Phyllis knew how to brighten a room with her smile. She was very generous towards our other residents; always willing to help those out less fortunate. She was a gentle spirit with a iron will. WE will miss you Phyllis!

I never met Phyllis but my son, Jim, loved her and that's good enought for me. Rest in peace dear lady you have earned your reward. The Lord be with your spirit. John Bossom, Jr.
