Phyllis Pfeil Obituary
CLIFTON PARK - Phyllis A. (Leggiere) Pfeil, 83, of Ballston Lake (Town of Clifton Park) beloved wife for 58 years to Robert Pfeil, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, April 18, 2025.
Born in Teaneck, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Manna Leggiere and was a graduate of Bergenfield High School and Farleigh Dickinson University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. Mrs. Pfeil was a retired teacher having taught at the Bergenfield Elementary School in Bergenfield, N.J., and had also taught at Warton Elementary School in Warton, N.Y.
Mrs. Pfeil devoted her life to improve the quality of life for her handicapped daughter, Karen Pfeil, through patterning, cell therapy and nutrition programs.
Beloved wife to Bob, devoted mother of Joanne DuMais and Karen Pfeil, cherished grandmother of Zachary DuMais and Christopher DuMais, dear sister of the late Elaine Marino, cherished aunt to Joe Marino, Elaine Marino and Jeanne Marino.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, with a service at noon, at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park, N.Y. 12065, and to follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tenn., or online at www.stjude.org/donate in memory of Phyllis A. Pfeil.

A great lady who did much for her family, especially Karen to give her the best quality of life. Now Phyllis is free and well and loved. Jesus holds her now. Thank you for the privilege of knowing Phyllis and family in past years.
