I saw Phyllis walking by herself in the hallway of Ft. Collins High School. I took her arm and said "C'mon, you're going to join us." Becky Kiely, FCHS Class of '48.

We are so sad at this loss, crushed, and yet, I can't help but be filled with so much gratitude for having known her. This pic of us at the Trial Gardens proves she was always the prettiest flower in the garden. Her warmth, caring, and empathy was never ending and always genuine. I always found calm and relief, and confidence whenever we were together. I think it's fair to say that the way she made Wayne light up made everyone around smile, too. I don't know that I've ever known a couple so smitten with each other. I'm grateful for the love she showed my family, especially the special relationship with my mom and dad. Having witnessed the cooler packing, and been a beneficiary of the bounty within, we can certainly attest to that skill of hers! Our warmest love and sympathies during this difficult time especially to Wayne, Perry, Steve, and Jennifer. May her memory be a blessing.

Love,
Mo Fried & Cynthia Duncan
