Phyllis J. Slade, age 87 of Fulton, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Howard Slade of 53 years; brother, Stephen Wolniak; and sister, Dorothy Clare.

Phyllis is survived by her loving children, Michael (Andrea) Slade and Deborah (Mark) Brotherton; grandson, Jacob Brotherton; several nieces, nephews that she loved dearly.

Phyllis was a registered nurse at Auburn memorial for seven years and then went on to work at A. Lee Memorial Hospital as a registered Nurse where she retired after 28 years of dedicated service. She served on the A. Lee Memorial hospital axillary and board as well. She was an avid reader and enjoyed lunches at Burger King. Phyllis was a member of the Women's Club of Fulton serving on the board and as co-president. She enjoyed volunteering during the Christmas toy giveaways and the food giveaway program with the Salvation Army. She also served as treasurer for the Salvation Army Axillary. Phyllis was a longtime member of the Alter Rosary Society at the former Holy Family Church in Fulton. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends when she could. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis' name may be made to Hospice of Central NY and the Fulton Public Library.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 11am to 12pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2912 NY-48, Minetto, NY 13115. Mass will immediately follow at 12pm.
