Phyllis Stewart, 77, of Liverpool, passed away September 13, 2024. Phyllis was born in Syracuse, New York on April 29, 1947 to Peter and Mary Rausa.
Phyllis worked many years for Muench-Kreuzer Candle Co. as a candlemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, baking, swimming, shopping and most importantly spending with her family. Phyllis was a great cook.
She was preceded in death by Mother, Mary Rausa; Father, Peter Rausa; and Grandchild, Jeffrey Clapper, Jr.
She is survived by her Son, Richard (Evelyn) Chandler; Two Daughters, Karen Craven, Nicole Stewart; Two Brothers, Michael (Chris) Rausa, Peter Rausa, Jr.; Sister, Rosane (George et.) Huff; Three Grandchildren, Jessica Clapper, Kaylee Clapper, Tyler Crump; Three Great-Grandchildren, Isabella Maura, Aaliyah Grady, Kayleb Clapper; and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, where funeral services will be held at 7:00pm. Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’ name to American Cancer Society.
