Phyllis Weidinger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dahl Funeral Chapel - Billings on Dec. 29, 2025.
Phyllis Jane (Reiter) Weidinger, 82, passed away peacefully December 19, 2025, with her family at her side. Phyllis was born to Phillip and Pauline (Nagel) Reiter on April 20, 1943, joining brother Sam and sisters Dorothy and Frances. She grew up on a farm west of Worden and attended Huntley Project School graduating with honors. Phyllis met the love of her life, Edward Weidinger, and were united in marriage February 24, 1962. In this marriage they welcomed three daughters.

Phyllis had many talents and excelled at them all. Baking, cooking, gardening, playing piano and organ, floral arranging and sewing were just a few. Many had the pleasure of enjoying her amazing cakes and eating the delicious food she lovingly prepared, cooked and served at her three establishments she owned. Feeding people was one of her greatest joys. Phyllis also loved her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She loved holding them as babies and as they grew she attended any and all activities they were in.

Phyllis loved camping, fishing, dancing and being a Girl Scout leader while her girls were in scouts. She also loved traveling. Her most memorable travel was to Germany with Ed and her sisters. They had so much fun exploring and seeing other nearby countries.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Phyllis is survived by her husband Ed, daughter Jody (Mark) Weller, daughter Jeanette (Craig) Wicks and daughter Julie. Grandchildren Kristin (Matt) Boyles, Matthew Weller, Chase (Brooke) Wicks, Jared (Sydney) Wicks, Cole (Brianna) Wicks. Great grandchildren, Beau and Ella Boyles, Blakely, Adyson, Kolsen, Aspen, and Braylyn Wicks.

Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma Phyllis will fly high with the butterflies, loved so deeply, and will be missed immensely.

Cremation has taken place.
