Pierce McCleskey, Jr., 82, of Canton passed away Monday, October 13, 2025. Pierce was a devoted, God-fearing husband and father. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, baseball, football and loved his beloved birddog, Maggie.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy McCleskey; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Crystal McCleskey; grandsons, Ethan and Caleb Casas; sisters, Vivian Hansard and Martha Lou Burruss and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Gerral Richards and Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
