Ms. Pilar Morales

Pilar Morales, age 53, passed away on December 8, 2022, at her home in Desert Hot Springs, California. She was born on October 12, 1969, to Raymond and Virginia Rivas. Pilar was the youngest of eight children. During her marriage to her ex-husband Rudy Morales, she was blessed with five children: Romeo (Tina), Roman Micah (Annabel), Robert (Alexandria), Rebekah (Marisa), and Rudi Monet. She is survived by her children, her three grandchildren Lillie, Elia, Lukas, and her siblings Reina Rivas, Victoria Deason, Monica Rivas, Roberta Rivas, Raymond Rivas, and Richard Rivas. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Virginia Rivas, as well as her sister Rosalinda. Pilar was a graduate of Palm Springs High School. She received her Medical billing degree and a cosmetology license. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as the person who could brighten up any room and make others laugh with her jokes. She enjoyed singing and dancing as well as being a loving mother and grandmother. She was a bright light even in the darkest moments, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 27th from 9 AM - 1 PM at Forest Lawn in Cathedral City followed by the burial across the street.
