Polly V. Aragon, 75, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on March

1949 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Ismael and Carmen Garcia, who preceded
her in death, together with sisters, Bernadette “Tappy” Nevarez and Esther
Gonzales. She is also preceded in death by nephews Joe “Jojo” Torres, Donald
Garcia Jr, and Elias Otero. As well as her beloved doggies, Chato, Chen and Chloe.

Polly is survived by her three beloved children, son Marcos Bustamante and
his wife Jessica, daughter Valentina Aragon, and son Marcello Aragon, and his
husband Paul. Her grandchildren Yanina Bustamante (Gregory Miles),
Joaquin Bustamante (Sarah Smith), Marcos Jr. Bustamante, Ariana
Bustamante (Jeremiah Robles) and Paloma and Enrique Rael. As well as her
great-grandchild, Pearson Cataleya Bustamante-Miles. She was also excited to
welcome upcoming great-grandchild Bustamante-Robles later this year.
She is survived by her sister who was her best friend Nancy Torres as well as
her sisters, Rita Dominguez, Becky Garcia, Angela Garcia, and Sandra
Dominguez. Her Brothers, Ismael Garcia, John Garcia and wife Doris, Tommy

nephews, great-great nephews and nieces and many, many friends and extended family.

In Polly's early life she enjoyed being a eldest sibling and often spoke about
her favorite memories of going to her grandparents house. Enjoying the ice
skating rink and watching parades throughout the town of Las Vegas, New
Mexico. She graduated from Robertson High School in 1967. Shortly after she
moved to Albuquerque where she spent the rest of her life raising her children
and enjoying the life of being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
She also took pride in her job at the United States Postal Service and retired
after 30 years. One of the many places you could have found Polly was her playing
Bingo, playing slot machines and being at the softball field cheering on
her son, Marcos and his daughters around New Mexico and many other states.

Polly will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor and dedication to her
family. Polly loved her Facebook recipes, attending softball games, traveling to
Nevada with her son Marcello, feeding the neighborhood cats, collecting owls
and painted rocks and receiving handmade sewn items from her granddaughter Paloma.

Prayer service for Polly will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the hours of
6-8pm at Trujillo Funeral Home. Their address is 110 Alvarado Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108
