Pradumn Thakkar

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Pradumn M Thakkar, on September 3, 2025, at 5:15 a.m. Born on May 27, 1950, he lived a life full of discipline, purpose, and quiet joy.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, his two cherished children, and the grandchildren who brought light and laughter to his days. His family was the center of his world, and he, in turn, was their steady anchor.

Known by all for his independence, punctuality, and remarkable organization, he was a man of unwavering routine and reliability. Yet within that structure, he found room for the simple pleasures that brought him joy-especially food, which he savored with genuine delight.

A proud resident of Jersey City, he found comfort in the vibrant streets that reminded him of home, and happiness in the warmth of his community at the Adult Day Care Center, where he shared companionship, conversation, and laughter.

Above all, he embodied a life rooted in values-devotion to family, respect for time, and gratitude for each day. He will be remembered not only for what he did, but for who he was: a husband who stood by his partner with love, a father who guided his children with strength, and a grandfather whose eyes lit up in the presence of his little ones.

His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know and love him.

Funeral services will be held this Friday, September 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Burial Park, 840 Cranbury–South River Road, Jamesburg, NJ 08831.
