Timmy, Kelly, Marty & Tracey,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to each of you and your family. As friends and fellow musicians for many years, your Dad & I came to know each others family through our many visits and no visit ever went by without him expressing praise for his family! As a devoted family man and a super talented steel guitar player, he had my respect from the start of our friendship.
Of the many times we played music together, my favorite, and the one I'm sure he was most proud of, was the night he played with us at the VFW Friday Night Dance and his family was there! He played his heart out and we all got to witness the first time he and Timmy performed on stage together. I could tell he was bursting with pride. What a night and one I will always remember!
Of all the music genres we played (Country, Blues, Rock, etc.) we had a mutual love for Jazz and "Stardust" music. Even though we couldn't play it at our Dance gigs, we had fun with it at our Jam-Sessions.
My family and I love him and will miss him dearly!
