To the entire Polk family I would like to share my prayers and condolences.
I had both Mr. and Mrs. Polk as my middle school teachers (New Castle Middle) and they were forever a changing force in my life.
Mr. Polk always the `smooth´ dresser and the one who was there to provide you a "soft but firm" point of view when you needed it. Mrs. Polk always firm but fair like having another Mom watching out for you. They made me want to strive to be better.
I wish I didn´t have to share the impact you both had on my life here.
To both of the boys I know you both know the gem you had in your father and I send my thoughts as you move forward without your Dad. Now he has the power of the Heavens and will use them to comfort many...it´s just who he was.
I respected and looked up to Mr. Polk so much. I loved him as a mentor and protector in my younger years. You will be truly missed! The world was a much better place with the two of you in it.
