Priscilla Giddens

Priscilla Frances Giddens, 71, of Cross, SC, wife of William "Harvey" Giddens, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Family and friends are invited to a Gathering on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483, from 10am to 11am. The Memorial Service will begin at 11am in the Chapel.
Priscilla was born on October 6, 1952, in Loris, SC, a daughter of the late Ansell Hardee and Frances Cox Hardee. Priscilla married the love of her life, Harvey Giddens, and they spent 55 years together! Priscilla loved to dance with her husband in their younger years. She enjoyed many things in life including traveling to the mountains, gardening in her yard, working on her puzzles, suntanning, and most of all, spending time with her family. Priscilla loved to make jokes and share a laugh every chance she got. Priscilla was an all-around tough, strong, and independent lady. She was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Harvey" Giddens; her son: Jason Giddens; Grandchildren: Crystal Carter (Derrick), Heather Kemp (Michael), Christian Miller, Jaelyn Giddens, and Miller Giddens; Great Grandchildren: Kalub Graham, Michelle Kemp, Michael Kemp, Jr., and Mylah Kemp; a beloved Sister, Harriet Gutnecht; a beloved aunt, Aunita Page; as well as many beloved nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving parents; her loving daughter, Christy Carter (George-living), as well as a sister, Sheila Brown.
