Priscilla C. (Leblanc) Lemay, 79, of 442 Bartlett Street died August 8, 2005 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Manchester on September 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Joseph and Malvina (Lizotte) Leblanc and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She had worked for New England Telephone for 29 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Catholic War Veterans Women’s Auxiliary. She belonged to the Senior Bowling League and was a parishioner of the Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking but most of all, spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Family members include her husband of 56 years, Gerard Lemay, a son, Charlie Lemay of Manchester; two daughters, Mrs. Vasilios (Claudia) Michael of Manchester and Mrs. Peter (Sylvia) Smith of Scarborough, ME; five grandchildren; a brother, Claude LeBlanc of Manchester, CT; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM in the Church of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
