Priscilla Almendarez Nino 60, of Odessa, entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 12, at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 10:00 a.m. All services will be hosted at Iglesia Apostolica, 11111 W. 16th Street. Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home.
Born on December 28, 1964, in McCamey, TX, Priscilla was the beloved daughter of Pedro and Elisa Almendarez. She grew up in Pecos, TX, where she received her education and began her lifelong devotion to her church. From teaching Sunday School to serving in youth ministries, Priscilla’s faith and dedication touched countless lives.
Known for her vibrant personality and deep love for family, Priscilla was cherished by all who knew her. She was a passionate fan of both the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. Even throughout her illness, she remained closely connected to her wide circle of friends and family, finding joy in video chats and treasuring time with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Priscilla is survived by her siblings: Esperanza Acosta, Juan Almendarez, Elia Dominguez, Roy Almendarez, Ben Almendarez, and Elodia Hinojos.
Honoring her memory as pallbearers will be Benjamin Almendarez, Christopher Day, Fernando Dominguez III, Brandon Hinojos, Gabriel Hinojos, and Joe Hinojos.
The Almendarez family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of MCH ICU, Pastors Arturo Bustamente, Saul Rocha, and Raul Marioni, and to all who have offered prayers, calls, and messages of support during this time.
