The funeral service for Priscilla Pfeifle, 93, of Aberdeen, SD, will be 2:00pm, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Blair Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial at Eureka City Cemetery at a later date. Priscilla died Monday, February 23, 2026, at Bethesda in Aberdeen, SD.

Visitation will be 12:00pm-2:00pm.

Priscilla was born on April 16, 1932, to Emil M. and Barbara (Bentz) Hoff on her parents farm near Eureka, SD. She attended Rural Country School in McPherson County, near Eureka. She later attended Aberdeen School of Commerce in Aberdeen, SD.

Priscilla married Harvey Pfeifle on July 23, 1950, at a Country Church near Eureka, SD. Their marriage was blessed with one daughter and three sons. Priscilla and Harvey made their home on a farm east of Eureka and farmed until 1965.

Harvey passed in the fall of 1965, after which Priscilla and her family made their home in Aberdeen, SD. Priscilla worked at the Dakota Farmer, St. Luke's Avera Hospital, South Dakota Department of Labor, and retired from Aberdeen School District. After retirement in 1995, she worked part-time for Aberdeen School lunchroom, and Visitors Center. Priscilla was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Aberdeen. She was active in many church activities. She was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society, and the Aberdeen Area Center, RSVP, Parks & Rec. during tournaments.

Grateful for having shared Priscilla's life are her daughter, Marietta (Steve) Riedel, Huron, SD; her sons, Vernay (Priscilla) Pfeifle, Washington, MO, Vincent (Connie) Pfeifle, Nemo, SD, and Vance Pfeifle, Independence, MO; grandchildren, Nicole (David) Stephens, Nathan Pfeifle, Darci (Matt) Baldwin, Travis Riedel, Jason (Toni) Durnil; three great grandchildren; and sisters, Salonia Wendt, Kathy Undlin, and Shirley Bucholz.

Preceding Priscilla in death are her husband, Harvey Pfeifle, her parents, and brothers-in-law, Leslie Bucholz, Roger Wendt, and Robert Undlin.

Memorials may be directed to: The American Cancer Society or Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.
