Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Virtue Missionary Baptist Church. Burial: Rockfish Memorial Park.
There will be a viewing on Monday, January 5th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
She is survived by her son, Johnnathan Morrisey and her daughter, LaShonda Morrisey, both of Fayetteville, NC; Five grandchildren: LyNira, Jaleeya, Johnathan, Jr., Gabrielle, and Savannah; Five sisters: Janie (David) Thompson of Capitol Heights, MD, Theresa (Thayles) Davis of Upper Marlboro, MD; Gwen (David) Houp of Stedman, NC; Elder Tammy (Ronald) Hagans of La Grange, NC and LaTonja Downing of Upper Marlboro, MD; two brothers, Daniel Morrisey of Spring Lake, NC; and Ricky (Karen) Morrisey of Laurel, MD; six aunts, five uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Katrina I remember when I first met you when I came down to granny funeral. We had so much fun staying up late and talking and laughing the night away. I am really going to miss you cuz continue to rest in peace with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ From cousin poddy

Upon hearing of Katrina's departure, it is with a sad heart that I write these few words of sorrow. Uncle Vinson & I are praying for you all. For we know that earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot bear. If you share it with the LORD, He will bear it. Just know that GOD is walking with you through it all .
