It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pursey Moss, known to his family as “Pop”, born on August 10, 1939, in Lafayette, Alabama. He departed from this life on December 3, 2025, in Ocoee, Florida, surrounded by his loving family. Pursey lived a life marked by hard work and dedication, having made a lasting impact in the construction industry as a lather.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Moss; his devoted daughters, Tina Hoomes and Sandi Henshaw; and his cherished sons, Pursey Moss, Jr. and Kenneth Moss, and his grandchildren Felicia, Richard, Gage, Morgan, Lakeley, Cydney, Sarah, Reese, Paycin, and great grandchildren Jonathan, Katelynn, Payton, Axell, Peter, Bryer, Bradley and Archer; and brother David Moss. Pursey was a pillar of strength for his family, whose memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
In this time of mourning, let us remember Pursey Moss not only for his dedication to his work and family but also for the kindness and warmth he shared with all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift his family and friends.
