Pyong Sun Pak, born November 5, 1934, in Pyongyang, Korea, passed away on December 18, 2024.
Pyong lived a life full of curiosity and joy. A gifted gardener, he found solace and purpose in nurturing life through his plants. He had an innate talent for tinkering and fixing old things, breathing new life into what others might overlook. His love for jigsaw puzzles reflected his patience and eye for detail. He also thoroughly enjoyed playing poker when he could.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Soon Im Pak; his loving children, Jinny McDaniel, Joanie Mays (spouse Brian), and Won Pak; and his adoring grandchildren, Elizabeth McDaniel, Lance McDaniel Jr., Sydney Mays, Maria Pak, and Natalie Pak.
He now joins his parents, Shin Won Pak and Chang Goon Pak, in eternal peace.
Pyong's legacy of hard work, kindness, and love for simple joys will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
