Quinice Price Tull was born September 12, 1928 in the Rose Creek community of McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Arvie D. and Ollie Bell Smith Price.
She was united in marriage to Leo Jackson Tull, Sr. on January 12, 1946. Mr. Tull preceded her in death on February 23, 2018, following 72 years of marriage.
Quinice attended school in Hornsby. She worked in retail sales for many years but was perhaps best known for pulling and selling barbeque from her brother Larry Price's food trailer and working in the McNairy Central High School cafeteria. Crocheting, quilting, and canning were among her favorite activities. She was affectionately known as "Granny" to many but was always "Sissie" to her four brothers. Quinice was a faithful member of the Buena Vista Church.
Quinice departed this life on December 25, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 95 Years, 3 Months, 13 Days. She is survived by five grandchildren: Randy Tull and wife Alicia of Selmer, TN, Jamie Tull and wife Amber of Bethel Springs, TN, Mandy Horton and husband D'Ray of Selmer, TN, Brian Tull and wife Laura Beth of Antioch, TN, and Julie Tenry and husband Anthony of Adamsville, TN; seven great-grandchildren: Hannah Broadway and husband Kenny, Kayla Davis and husband John Thomas, Emma Tull, Eli Horton, Addie Tull, Alana Tull, and Olive Tull; three great-great-grandchildren: Kendall, Ethan, and Heidi; two daughters-in law, Phyllis Tull of Adamsville and Judy Tull of Selmer; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Quinice was preceded in death by two sons, Leo Tull, Jr. and Gary Tull; a grandchild, Tracey Tull; a great-grandchild, Mattie Bell Horton; and four brothers: Melvin Price, Ernest Price, Larry Price, and John Price.
