Rachael R. Wolfe
Rachael R. Wolfe, of Winchester, IN, passed away Monday, May 5th, 2025, after an extended illness at her residence. Rachael was born in Oxnard, CA, on September 21, 1967, a daughter of the late Linda Loeb and Michael Roach. She was a 1984 graduate of Buena Ventura High School and went on to receive a Bank Teller's Training Certificate, Minor in Agriculture in Junior College, BA in 2004, and MSIT in 2006 from the University of Phoenix. Rachael had a love for animals and nature, she helped her mother raise "Guide Dogs for the Blind" in San Rafael, CA, throughout the 1970's, volunteered as Vice President Gymkhana in Thousand Oaks, CA from 2004-2008, worked in IT for the Superintendent of Schools State of California and Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA, cared for her mother who passed at age 56 of Crohn's Disease, and her grandfather Herbert Loeb WWII veteran during his last years with Alzheimer's and had survived a published account of his plane crash in Papua New Guinea, owned thoroughbred's "Spencer for Hire" and "Comrade" both of equine royalty heritage, did forensic accounting on her family farm which she recently received the Hoosier State 150 year Family Farm Award. She loved volunteer work and served on Relay for Life through Community Memorial Hospital raising awareness and funds for cancer research running midnight movies with her husband in support, researching and sharing support with cancer patients throughout the US. Her trips to East Arica, Kenya, France, England, Costa Rica, Bahamas, Yucatan, Pacific Ocean, Mexico, New York City, Philadelphia, Orlando and Disney Cruises will forever be cherished by her husband Charles. Rachael is survived by her loving husband Charles Wolfe, sister Lena Linder, and extended family members throughout the South Carolina area. She is also survived by her K9 service dog Claire and her other K9 large and small breeds. Graveside services will be held in Buena Vista Cemetery in Farmland, IN, on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1 PM with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating. In lieu of flowers her husband requests that you send an uplifting note, card, or gift to a person in the community or a local facility in order to encourage, give hope and spread joy to those who need it most. Arrangements are entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
