Rachel Reed Crumley

Rachel Reed Crumley was called home on the morning of Tuesday, October 7, 2025. There to welcome her was her beloved husband, David, as well as her parents, and all her siblings.
Rachel is survived by her two sons, David Reed Crumley and Brett Wayne Crumley (Autumn), all of Bonaire, Georgia. She was a proud and loving "Gigi" to her grandchildren, Courtney Crumley, Kasey Quarles (Landon), and Lindsey Crumley, all of Bonaire. Her joy multiplied with her five great-grandchildren, Raiden Gleaton, Anderson Quarles, Morgan Quarles, Channing Quarles, and Fredrick Love.
Rachel was born on December 13, 1941, in Oakwood, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Julia Reed. Rachel married the love of her life, David Crumley, in June of 1960. Together, they built a life in Warner Robins, where Rachel dedicated 30 years of service to Robins Air Force Base as an Item Manager.
Before and after her retirement, Rachel and David embraced the joys of travel, cruising and exploring 49 U.S. states and visiting numerous foreign countries alongside dear friends. She dearly loved spending time with her family and friends. Rachel also enjoyed fishing, sewing, reading, and gardening. She especially enjoyed tending to her flowers, growing tomatoes, and sharing her heart through her cooking.
Affectionately known as "Gigi," Rachel was the heart of her family. Her love was unconditional, her presence comforting, and her selfless spirit was felt by everyone who knew her. She lived a life of service, always placing the needs of others above her own.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service honoring Rachel's memory will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Rachel Reed Crumley will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
